Radical conceptual designer Martin Margiela founded his eponymous couture house in 1988 and quickly established himself at the forefront of the Belgian fashion avant-garde. Today the label is run by Glenn Martens, who has maintained the brand’s intellectual blend of conceptualism and luxury.
The 'Belt' bag has a generous silhouette made from buttery calfskin suede with buckled leather top handles that adjust with drawstring — use them to cinch the design. Maison Margiela's signature, the four stitches, appear at the back, the opposite of the label.
