For Spring, Ian Griffiths proposed a wardrobe for women in the new climate, whom he expects will rebuild the world. So, he presented sporty elasticized waists and drawstrings for extra comfort, which appear alongside designs inspired by Griffiths’ much-adored Renaissance. The resulting off-the-shoulder necklines, slashed sleeves, and extended cuffs—all nods to the 14th-century era—put a fresh spin on the Italian label’s heritage craft.
