Monique Lhuillier Bridal
There is perhaps no name more synonymous with bridal than Monique Lhuillier. The New York-based designer cements her reputation with an enchanting fall collection that was inspired by brides running through a flower garden. The ensuing looks that sashayed down the runway exuded a sense of ethereal lightness. There were Chantilly lace gowns, flouncy cutaway hemlines, and chiffon numbers covered in feathers. Although the rich embroideries and lace-printed organza couldn’t be any more ornate, the most impressive feat was the detachable overskirts. This modern touch afforded today’s bride the ability to move from a traditional ceremony to the dance floor with ease. This element only added to the overall sense of ease that pervaded the collection.
