Jacobs closed out New York Fashion Week on a hauntingly beautiful note, with jaw-dropping, couture quality clothing and the return of Christy Turlington (her last time on the runway was in ’94).

The music: Bryce Dessner’s “Aheym,” by the American Contemporary Music Ensemble.

The set: A huge, pitch-black room with a mirrored floor at the Park Avenue Armory.
The audience: 180 people—unusually intimate for Jacobs.
