Handmade in Los Angeles, the Crete Travel Backgammon Set takes inspiration from the sun-washed landscapes and deep blue waters of the Greek islands. A warm sand-toned leather exterior frames a suede playing field in soft Aegean blue and rich chocolate brown—an earthy, coastal palette that feels relaxed, refined, and distinctly Mediterranean. The travel backgammon boards are crafted from high-quality European Italian leather. The playing field is made from soft suede with a velvety finish, while the exterior and strap feature durable pigmented leather with a subtle cross-grain texture. Each board is treated with a water-resistant agent prior to shipment. To help preserve the leather and suede, we recommend reapplying a water-resistant spray approximately once a year, depending on frequency of use and exposure to the elements.
