KALAMA KAI EXCURSION
Private boat charters aboard Kalama Kai are fully customizable, with options to snorkel, offshore fish, surf (conditions permitting), or just cruise. With spinner dolphins, Green sea turtles, tropical fish and more, the Kohala Coast features world-class snorkeling, fishing and surfing. Visit black sand beaches — created from eroded lava and found on beaches within proximity to volcanic activity — only accessible by boat. This Experience includes a 4 hour boat ride for up to 6 guests, lunch, beverages and snacks.

CULTURAL HELICOPTER TOUR
Embark on a private helicopter tour and visit the Big Island's most iconic landmarks, sacred sites, and waterfalls, many of which are only accessible via helicopter. CANOE SNORKEL
Grab your gear in front of the Surf Shack and talk story with Mauna Lani’s Kainalu Pros as your outrigger canoe glides toward the horizon. As you drop anchor, marvel at the glimmer of Yellow Tangs from the ocean’s surface or swim amongst honu (turtles) and octopi as they maneuver through intricate reef formations.

BEYOND THE BARREL
Visit Kuleana Rum Works’s sugarcane farm, home to several types of heirloom of sugarcane that are used to make Kuleana’s award-winning rum. After learning about the farm-to-glass process, head back to Mauna Lani to have lunch and mix your own Lani Tai, Mauna Lani’s take on the mai tai — crafted with macadamia nut orgeat syrup, orange curacao, and Kuleana’s aged rum.

MAUNA LANI CULINARY CLASSIC
Mauna Lani is thrilled to announce its 2nd annual Mauna Lani Culinary Classic — a soulful epicurean experience presented in partnership with Blue Ribbon Restaurants and local nonprofit organization Māla`ai: The Culinary Garden of Waimea Middle School. From August 29th through September 2nd, 2024 over Labor Day weekend, this soulful four-day festival pairs Hawaii’s homegrown culinary talent with James Beard award-winning chefs, California winemakers, and world-renowned master mixologists for a series of events that celebrate Hawaii’s fascinating flavors and agricultural heritage.
