A self-professed girlie girl, Texas-born and Parsons alumni Lela Rose launched her eponymous brand in 1998 out of a desire to create “beautiful, hand-finished clothes that exude casual luxury.” Widely recognized for her marrying of refined elegance and modern whimsy with brilliant colors and beautiful fabrication, Lela Rose presents a fresh point of view in American fashion.
Crafted from our signature fluid crepe, the Cascade Dress features a flattering bateau neckline with cape cap sleeves, a draped bodice with a waterfall seam detail that cascades into a flowing kick pleat hem. Embellished with textural raised floral cord embroidery, the rich dimensional petalwork takes its inspiration from the groundbreaking floral still lifes of American Photographer Imogen Cunningham. This can be effortlessly dressed up with heels or down with boots, redefining elevated celebration or cocktail hour polish.
