For Fall ‘22, Maxwell put the spotlight on (literally—models sauntered down an inky black runway) the quality of design in tribute to his grandmother, “Mammaw,” a boutique owner who fostered his love of fashion. “When I try to dazzle her with the theater of runway,” he said, “she only has eyes for my seams.”
