Fresh out of Central Saint Martins, Sarah Swash and Toshio Yamanaka’s hand-drawn prints won them the esteemed Hyères prize in 2004. More than a decade later, the designer duo’s graphic-heavy signature remains just as fresh, appearing in collaborations with HP Theatre in Japan, Gago in France, and the music festival Tommorowland. This spring, the pair makes their mark on wildflower bomber jackets, relaxed suiting separates topped with intricate feathers, and tropical kimono robes bursting with wanderlust. There’s even a lineup of great one-pieces decked in color-soaked prints. The finishing touch? Matching accessories—baseball caps, umbrellas, and towels— that only add to the hyper-saturated aesthetic.
