Salinas

Launching Salinas out of her home in Brazil in 1982, Jacqueline de Biase was one of the first designers to sell strappy bikinis, a fresh alternative to the one-pieces that dominated the ‘80s swim scene. Salinas instantly spiraled to success, becoming what is now Rio’s number brand, internally acclaimed for its vibrant, tropical designs. Staying true to the label’s roots, this Resort season sees minimalist bikinis alongside cool cutout monokinis splashed with palm fronds and the colorful florals of Brazil. Elsewhere, retro textile prints and halters of every variety, from high-necks to plunging keyhole versions, bring a dose of ‘70s spirit.
