MERCEDES SALAZAR

The Colombian jeweler pays tribute to her native country with jewelry that knows how to have fun. For her latest collection, this translates to earrings in a range of styles that all feature heart motifs in various iterations. Crafted from gold-plated bronze, and alight in vintage crystals in a rainbow of hues, each decorated heart takes inspiration from the embroidered scapulars made by the cloistered nuns in Boyacá, Colombia. As with all of her collections, every piece is handcrafted by her team of local artisans in her Bogotá atelier. We love them all—particularly the forest green hearts fringed in emerald crystal drops.
