Creative director Francesco Risso’s sustainable show put the spotlight on conscious design, celebratory color, and craft. His hero shoe? The humble flip-flop. Almost every model walked the runway in a version of the sandal. Spring’s silhouettes range from Marni’s signature sculptural aesthetic with a luxe wooden wedge to funky platforms to embellished flats (the latter charmingly feature “Marni” painted by hand on the footbed). Handbags spotlight structured shapes, like the Tropicalia oversized leather tote and Cumaru bucket style with a detachable brass handle.
The buy: The white top-handle tote.
