The designer: Since 2015, twenty-five-year-old Lucia Echavarria—the Paris-born, New York-based, Colombian designer—has been outfitting It-girls round the globe with her head-turning pieces.
This season it’s about: Bright, tropical colors inspired by Mexico’s Day of the Dead. “During my trip to Oaxaca, I became fascinated with the beautifully intricate altars that adorned the city,” says Lucia. Made especially for Moda, most styles are one-of-a-kind.
The piece to buy: Every girl needs a “bijoux de tête.” First-timers should start their collection with a rainbow crown.
