Lauren Craft Collection
Texas native Lauren Craft cut her jewelry teeth in New York City, studying at the Gemological Institute of America before apprenticing under industry heavyweight Alexis Bittar. It wasn’t long before she returned to the Lone Star state and launched her own line in 2011. Distinguished by exotic stones and dark metalwork, each one-of-a-kind piece exudes an unexpected edge that shakes fine jewelry’s formal reputation. Cast in point: the latest collection’s moody romance, championed by skull cocktail rings, pearl knuckle cuffs, and arrowhead drop earrings. A welcome balance to the tough-luxe aesthetic arrives with pieces inspired by Craft’s travels to India, including moonstone drop earrings and kaleidoscopic webbed hoops. With just five years behind the label, it’s amazing that Craft has not only been able to establish herself, but also bring such diversity to her designs.
