In 2015, Jeanne Signoles launched L/Uniform as an antidote to the lack of light, practical, and beautifully-made travel bags. Four years later, and the French label is thriving thanks to their range of utilitarian shapes that stand the test of time. Everything is handmade in the brand’s workshops in Carcassonne and Portugal, from two materials only: canvas (which is hand-woven) and leather sourced from an old Catalonian tannery. Each piece here—which includes foldable canvas totes, vanity cases, and an open boxy carry-all—can be monogrammed to fit up to three letters (and delivers just in time for the holidays).
The buy: the Carry-On Suitcase No. 40, complete with two patch pockets that hold two removable pouches.
