EDITOR'S NOTE
The Bridge Handled Vessel series is inspired by the bulbous belly and connecting arch that is commonly found in Pre-Columbian and Etruscan water vessels to act as a handle for easy carrying. SB-T Studio is a collective of ceramic artists based in Massachusetts making decorative objects and tableware, founded by sculptor and designer Simone Bodmer-Turner. The studio focuses on small production wares for the home, kitchen, pantry and bath made in porcelain and stoneware.

- Soft curves, two necks rounding around negative space, and a tall elegant foot, this vessel has been influential to all vessels that have come after it, as well as Simone's personal sculptural practice.

- Our vases are made in porcelain and are watertight. If vases are often used with florals, clean and allow to dry completely between arrangements. Discoloration from use with florals and hard-to-remove marks may be removed with a magic eraser. The bottom of each piece is sanded, but if placed on a delicate surface we recommend applying thin felt to the bottom to avoid scratching on tables.
