Porcelain Plate

Inspired by China’s blue and white Ming porcelain, delftware was born in Holland in the 1600s. We’ve teamed up with Royal Delft — the last remaining manufacturer of authentic Delfware — to bring you a magnificent curation of home decor.

Besides the worldfamous Delft Blue the masterpainters at Royal Delft also create the multi-coloured polychrome collection. This decoration style is inspired by colour used in the Mediterranean and it is these colours that give the earthenware its typical character. The border on this rectangular hand painted plate is almost symmetrical giving it a more modern twist.
