Antique Walnut Diamond Framed Mirror with Applied Gilt Shell Corner Details, Circa Late 19th Century. The striking wall mirror features a stepped, dark-finished walnut frame with silver gilt liner. Each corner is embellished with a hand-carved gilt wood scallop shell (possibly added later in life). Paired with a new mirrored glass panel in-house. Unbranded.
Condition: Excellent antique condition with minimal surface wear. Areas of wood finish variation and gilt loss to scallop shell details. One small loss to the top shell as detailed in images.
