EDITOR'S NOTE

Florentine artist Mario Luca Giusti crafts objects dedicated to the table. With influences that range from baroque to pop art, each piece is designed to appear like crystal, glass or ceramic, updated for modern life in acrylic and melamine — their practicality makes elegance accessible, less austere, and allows classic objects and shapes to become more accessible and fun.

Acrylic is a plastic material that is strong, light and hard but with the appearance of a glass product. It is highly resistant to scratches and breakages, but it is not 100% indestructible.
