Marchanta honors the rich and diverse beauty of the Dominican Republic with functional sculptures made by local artisans and craftworkers. Marchanta’s signature shape evokes the rattan baskets used by Dominican marchantas, piled high with colorful fruits and fragrant flowers to be sold in town.

Marchanta sculpture is made of Saman Wood, a sustainable and richly grained wood found in the Caribbean. Sculpture is fully made by hand by artisans in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic..

The signature scent, MARCHANTA 01, is designed in collaboration with Bertrand Douchafour and formulated in Grasse, France.
