Few places blend the spirit of golf with royal legacy quite like Morocco. The game’s roots in the Kingdom trace back to 1914, with the creation of the Royal Country Club of Tangier, the first golf course ever built in Morocco.
Today, nearly fifty courses stretch across the country, attracting some of the best players in the world. Morocco: Kingdom of Golf was created to celebrate more than a century of golf, as well as the fiftieth anniversary of the Hassan II Golf Trophy. Established in 1971 by His Late Majesty King Hassan II, the tournament reflects his visionary commitment to developing golf throughout the nation.
