Ever since launching her namesake label in 2009, London-based Holly Fulton has perfected the art of hand-drawn prints, psychedelic adornments, and figure-hugging silhouettes. Inspired by the surrealist collages of late British artist Eileen Agar, this latest spring collection sees the designer’s graphic lair arrive in full force. Fulton translates the artist’s repetitive nature patterns via playful starfish motifs and floral appliqués accenting spiraling ruffled skirts and dresses. Geometric embroideries and crystal embellishments artfully clash in crisp button-up shirts and cool denim creations. The palette of citrusy orange, bold blue, and neon lime further cements the overall eccentric spirit. In collaboration with the heritage Turkish leather goods house Petek, a series of lively box bags in brightly-hued plonge leather pack just as much punch.
