Emilie Helmstedt is the latest Copenhagen-bred talent to put on your radar: her silky pieces carry a cool boudoir vibe and are marked by their vibrant hand-painted prints (for which she won the Magasin du Nord Fashion Prize last year). Based in Christiania, Denmark’s largest artist commune, Helmstedt looks to nature for inspiration. Spring’s ‘30s- and ‘50s-inspired loungewear feature an insect-strewn print inspired by a bee drawing she spotted in an old biology book.
The buy: the violet silk maxi. Wear yours out to cocktails—and then to bed.
