ON THIS SEASON’S INSPIRATION

“I was inspired by a photo album in my family archives called "unidentified vacations". I found pictures from a trip I took to visit my dad in Taos in the ‘70s—he had an art gallery there called "Dennis Hopper's Works of Art" which was opposite Georgia O’Keeffe’s ranch. He absolutely loved Georgia O’Keeffe. Her paintings, her home, her life and palette inspire the mood of this collection.”—designer Marin Hopper

ON THE FAMILY HISTORY

“The family tree is a wonderful web that expands in so many directions of Hollywood, New York, New Mexico and beyond. I am lucky in that I have the luxury of telling their stories—wonderful American tales that branch out over so many different periods of time, style and place.”

ON THE SHOPPER

“As much as Hayward has been (and continues to be) about signature iconic hardware, I wanted to make a bag that was easy to carry over the course of the day, night and also take on vacation. It packs so easily—I love its versatility!”

ON THE NEW MATERIALS

"We have added new Venetian Fortuny brocades which match the spirit of the collection. Also new this season are dedicated tooled embossed leathers that have the flourish of pattern but feel like an exquisitely worn saddle."
