This season it’s about: Precise tailoring and Issey Miyake-esque pleats. The former manifest as perfect-fit jackets (cut to reveal a slice of skin at the waist) and high waisted pants, while the latter gave everything from column skirts to a pant suit and luxe, languid feel. An electric color palette (referred to by Ackermann as “paradise birds on acid”) brought it all to incredible life.
