GUITA M

It’s not often that you’ll find natural, rich colors of this magnitude. New York-based jeweler Guita Mortinger travels to far-flung locales to source her vast collection of gemstones and minerals to fun and striking effect. Her latest collection combines such unpolished rarities as petrified wood opal, white quartz with copper veins, rhodochrosite, and carnelian—many of which were cut and shaped at a well-known lapidary in Germany—with her signature textured 18K yellow gold.

Editor’s pick: the pearlized landscape agate and citrine drop earrings.
