FIGUE

Each season, Stephanie von Watzdorf, the designer (and well-known globetrotter) behind Figue, looks to her far-flung travels for inspiration, and this season she referenced Goa, India—particularly ‘70s-era Goa, when communities of nomads would travel by Volkswagen. Hence the tie-dye and tropical florals, printed on the label’s signature billowing, bohemian dresses and caftans—updated for Spring with ruffles and in diaphanous silks—and in a rich palette inspired by Henri Matisse.
The buy: the silk maxi in vermilion red tie-dye with metallic threading.
