How do you approach fashion as a form of self-expression?
A lot of my fashion inspiration comes from my grandmother. Wearing her clothes gives me this quiet, undeniable confidence. It’s like I’m stepping into her legacy and channeling her spirit: a strong, powerful, impeccably stylish Black woman.
Who are your favorite designers?
Dries van Noten and Diotima! Two brands that treat texture like a language, turning it into whimsical, one-of-a-kind pieces that feel more like art than clothing.
As a creative person, what practical considerations go into how you dress when you’re working?
Comfort, to me, is non-negotiable. When I get dressed or decide to buy something, it’s the first thing I consider because you can’t truly look your best unless you feel at ease.
