The annual New York City masked ball—this year sponsored by Moda—brought a stylish crowd to The Plaza Hotel to celebrate and help preserve the artistic heritage of Venice.
Entertaining guru Bronson van Wyck transformed the space into an Italian Renaissance dreamscape, complete with classical antiquities reimagined in red glitter. In line with this year’s theme “Artista e Musa,” designers arrived arm in arm with their chosen muses. Oscar de la Renta’s Fernando Garcia and Laura Kim dressed our very own LSD—a longtime supporter of the cause—in a sleek emerald gown, accessorized with Bulgari jewels.
Raising a record-breaking $1.2 million, it was a successful night. Here, we explore the tried, tested, and invested methods of the best-dressed women in attendance.
