Giulia, 29, grew up as one of three sisters surrounded by fashion; Papa Tordini designed shoes and currently runs the showroom Marcona 3 in Milan, and her older sister, Giorgia, is the co-founder behind cool-girl label The Attico. While Giorgia favored clothing, Giulia always found herself drawn to accessories. “My attention is driven to the detail more than the ensemble,” says the art director-turned-designer. Inspired by her grandmother’s “impeccably polished nails” and “wrinkled, slender hands covered in rings,” as well as her deep love of film, Giulia’s pieces capture a bold yet timeless glamour—whether worn with jeans and a T-shirt or one of her sister’s party dresses.

Launching exclusively on Moda, the debut collection, known as “Season 1,” is divided into three families, each named after one of the three main characters in “Death Becomes Her”—"Meryl” (Streep), “Goldie” (Hawn), and “Isabella” (Rossellini). We sat down with Giulia to discuss her greatest sources of inspiration, how her style differs from that of her sisters, and where you can find her having dinner in Milan.
