PETER DO
Showing: September 8, 5pm
The NYC-based brand, a co-winner of the 2020 LVMH Prize, is on every industry insider’s wishlist, thanks to it’s unexpected—and exceptionally versatile—spins on the modern woman’s wardrobe. Though Do himself is a master tailor (he honed his skills at Celine under Phoebe Philo’s tutelage), everything made under the Peter Do label is the result of the collective efforts of the entire team, a close-knit group who co-founded the line together. The label delivers a palate-cleansing luxury with distinct cool factor thanks to deconstructed, convertible, and subversive elements. Pockets are a non-negotiable brand signature (you'll even find them concealed in evening gowns), as well as decorative line detailing down the arm (a nod to Do’s own tattoo) and “three piece” suiting that layers pleated skirts and blazers over sharply-cut trousers. Read our profile on Peter Do here, and look out for the SS ’22 Trunkshow launching soon.

SNOW XUE GAO
Showing: September 9, 3-4pm
The Parsons-trained, NYC-based eponymous talent is known for culturally-rich collections filled with stunning prints inspired by her Chinese heritage and re-worked tailoring that rewrites the rules of womenswear. She launched her line after honing her craft at Jason Wu, and went on to earn a nomination for the 2018 LVMH Prize and a placement on Forbes Asia’s 2018 30 Under 30 list. From asymmetric draping to hybrid constructions and a mélange of wide-ranging references—her inspiration runs from Chinese children’s songs to the Regency silhouettes popularized by Nextflix’s “Bridgerton”—her collections are as considerately crafted as they are cool, and guarantee to instantly turn heads.
