TRUNKSHOW ENDING IN 12 DAYS

ULLA JOHNSON

Craft has always been integral to the New Yorker’s vision—and Fall’s embraces a global, artisanal spirit with mixed print layers across rich tones. Courtesy of female artisans around the world, the latter includes Ottoman-inspired, metallic hand-embellishments done in India with brass and sequin accents as well as braided cable knits with hand-crochet details made in Brooklyn. Alongside Turkish shearling, and richly-detailed, in-house prints—featuring Uzbek ikats and batiks, and peppered with cosmic and nature-inspired motifs—the result is a sumptuous, earthy glamour with seductive movement.

The buy: the chunky cream cable-knit with statement braiding and crochet (handmade in Brooklyn).
