STELLA MCCARTNEY
At Manège de l'École Militaire, France’s oldest riding school, Stella McCartney put her love for horses on full display (complete with Camargue horses galloping amongst models) in her most sustainable collection to date. Her signature Savile Row tailoring—in creamy browns and gray British checks or horse-blanket-inspired plaids—is offset by eco-certified spins on slender suiting with snug waistcoasts and Hussar-style fastenings that recall classic British hunting equestrian attire. Nods to horses continue with Appaloosa-inspired patterns on ultra-luxe fur-free coats, eveningwear with bridle crystalline rope details, and throughout, horse imagery taken by her sister Mary and late mother, Linda.
The buy: any of the color-blocked slips featuring Stella’s mother’s horse photography.
