ETRO
For his second collection, Marco De Vincenzo dives further into the house’s storied history, reinterpreting archival prints and textiles with an inspiring, youthful energy that instantly draws you in—and propels Etro’s Italian heritage into the future. The starting point was a velvet-woven jacquard pattern culled from the Milan headquarters, which he went on to tweak (in proportion, scale, and palette). That, along with intricate tapestry-esque patterns, graphics, and florals (printed and embroidered), creates an irresistible cacophony of textures that take center stage on pared-back, yet no less seductive, silhouettes.
The buy: the cropped orange velvet jacquard set.
