THE JEWELRY EDIT: ANTIQUE HEIRLOOMS
Our latest edit brings you a wellspring of rare and exquisite finds from three world-renowned collectors of vintage fine jewelry: the over-80-year-old NYC-based and family-run Kentshire Galleries; Christie’s alum Simon Teakle, known for his encyclopedic knowledge of fine jewelry and wealth of precious wearable art; and Stephen Russell, the coveted Upper East Side jewelers with over 35 years of experience sourcing Victorian, Edwardian, and Art Deco finds (and an A-list clientele to show for it). Among the highlights here are LSD’S hand-picked favorites, which include a “Harlequin” Cartier ring circa 1955 and sensational platinum and diamond Art Deco pieces—sourced by Stephen Russell—as well as Simon Teakle’s 1965-era Georges Lenfant necklace, a 1950s-era Boucheron necklace, and an heirloom-worthy Tiffany brooch that dates back to 1890.
