ALEJANDRA ALONSO ROJAS
At the Fotografiska Museum’s restaurant, amidst refreshments and crudités, the NYC talent presented fresh spins on her impeccably spun sensuality. As a fourth-generation weaver, she elevates crochet to über-elegant heights—and Spring features her dip-dyed techniques as well as new floral appliqués and rainbow fringe. Channeling the ease and seduction of ‘90s-era models, signature silks (boasting a painterly camouflage-like print of dancing women by French artist Philippine de Richemont) prove stunning on their own in effortless, figure-skimming silhouettes—and even more so when fused with crochet into sublime multi-textured standouts.
