Brian Atwood has been high-impact from the beginning, as the first American hired at Versace by Gianni himself, he designed accessories for the Versace and Versus labels. Atwood eventually rose to the Head of Accessories at Versace until 2001 when he founded his own, Milan-based footwear brand. The designer’s striking heels are renowned for their bold and and extravagantly provocative design.
