Here’s what we’ve bought and how we’re excited to wear it.
Undoubtedly one of the best things about spring is the opportunity to trade in our winter warmers for crisp cotton and—gasp!—no sleeves. While some of us have patiently stored our purchases in the back of our wardrobes, most have tried to “winter-fy” with knits and endless layers… Finally, we can wear our newest things as they were originally intended.
“At the show this top was paired with a matching skirt for an evening look, but I would dress it down by layering it over a Tome white button-down. I’d add a Brock ‘90s straight leg jean with an evening shoe—the idea is to mix evening and day.”
–Lizzie Leventhal, General Merchandising Manager, Ready to Wear
“Is there anything more spring-y than a crisp white shirt dress? Leave it to the Brock duo to create the perfect base for any outfit: casual with a leather jacket and flats or dressed up with bright sandals and a great earring.”
“Temperley was my favorite show of SS16—I lusted after everything on the runway! However, one piece shone brighter than the rest and when it landed in the M'O Mews for our trunkshow shoot I knew it had to be mine. I can't wait to wear these dungarees to a wedding in Italy this summer, paired with my ever-faithful Tabitha Simmons sandals and a Charlotte Olympia clutch—a British designer hat-trick!
–Francesca del Balzo, Senior Manager, Creative Services
“I knew I had to have this Rosie Assoulin top from the moment I saw it at the presentation. Paired with slimmer pieces, it doesn't overwhelm a smaller frame and there are so many ways to wear it. This piece is lovely worn dressed up with trousers for a spring dinner, but I really love this top worn casually for the beach, paired with
denim cutoffs and sandals.”
“I love Saloni's pieces for their simplicity and function. This dress will be my summer staple—you can dress it up with great accessories. I’d pair it with these fun Aquazzura flats and mirror the details from the shoes with these Marni earrings. If temperatures drop, I’ll throw on a sweater and make a new look!”
