BUwood

Inspired by classic trunks and hatboxes, Italian-based designer Anya Bumagina creates minimalist geometric handbags with maximalist impact. Milanese artisans are enlisted to craft the modernly traditional bags out of hand-stitched Italian calfskin and poplar wood. Taking up to ten weeks to construct each design, BUwood produces some of the highest quality box-style bags in the history of Italian accessories.
